Alex co-founded and provides strategic input to the Meridian Research Group team.

Alex is recognized as a top strategist in the Capitol Hill ecosystem and has worked for nearly three decades in public service and in the private sector to shape financial services and technology policy.

Prior to co-founding Meridian, Alex served as the Democratic Deputy Staff Director and Senior Policy Advisor for the U.S. Senate Committee on Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs). He also served as the Staff Director for the Senate Banking Subcommittee on Securities and Investment.  Additionally, he worked in legislative policy positions for three Members of the House of Representatives.

Alex holds a B.A. from Louisiana State University.
